This week I had the opportunity to return to New York City and visit some of my closest friends and family. It is amazing being able to get comfortable in a different setting and then coming back home. I was able to analyze and compare both Orlando and NYC. I also realized that the saying “if you make it in NY, you make it anywhere” is very accurate. In NY we face many challenges that are out of our hands. However, we need to be creative and work around them. Many of the skills I have brought with me from New York, Disney has helped me develop those skills. One of the skills that Disney has helped me the most with is my time management skills. If I ever take more time than what I should when cleaning a room, I know that I need to find effective ways of cutting time in the following rooms.
