WRJ #5: Five Ups for Each Down

” The college program is what you make it”- Disney. After being part of the program for a month so far, I begin to observe and analyze how students actually feel about the program when they face it in reality. I can now agree with that quote because I have witnessed it. As I communicate with other cast members and socialize, I learn that many love it for many reasons and just as many dislike it for others. However, I can say that is the shoes you wear, that determine your success in the program. We have to be able to step out of that comfort zone we have and actually thrive to survive in an instant change of environment. I have gained many new skills in such little time, and I am eager to acquire more. All puzzles have a solution, but some solutions require more work than others. Disney requires more.

  1. It is almost a month since you wrote these words. Have you continued to make similar observations ? What have you done to “make the most of the program “?

    • I have continued to make similar observations continuously. What I have done to make the most out of this program so far, has been to step away from the negatives. I have surrounded myself with other cast members who enjoy the program as much as I do and have managed to meet many influential cast members.
