WRJ #4: A Mouse keeping Story

This week has been very successful for me in the program. I am now doing seventeen rooms for my role as a housekeeper. It is very difficult and the amount of pressure I face on a daily basis is sometimes intimidating. However, I am aware that I will get better and even though the job won’t get easier, at least the pressure will go away. My leader is amazing and she does a wonderful job at making sure I am doing things right and keeping me motivated. This week she shared with me how she sees me go a long way in the industry. She is always there to help as well. This week there was a day that I was very busy and she actually changed into a housekeeping costume and helped me clean a room. They`re always times when I second doubt the program while I’m at work but I always tell myself “tough times don’t last but tough people do”.

  1. I really like that quote, stealing it! I heard housekeeping was “hard” but we knew you could do it!

  2. Tough people certainly to survive. What needs to happen next is that you take the knowledge you have developed and share it with others. By the way, I think you leader is right.
