Hi, my name is Qing, and I am a student studying Hospitality at the CUNY City College of Technology. From the first semester in college until now, I’ve seen a huge transformation from my old self to the new me. I have become less independent and started networking with many of the students and faculty in this school! I believe this is an important first step out into the real world because no matter where you are, they can become your mentor and guide you. I wanted to work at a front desk at any major brand hotels. For every new job I find, I learned new skills. But, I can also use the skills I acquire from previous jobs and perform it in my current place at work. It’s good to learn a skill, but enhancing and sharpening that skill is also important. I work best in a team and always work with integrity. Those are my strongest asset. Teamwork is important in my work areas where multiple tasks need to be accomplished by a certain time. Often times working in a team, it requires a leader to lead the group or team. They let us know which task to handle first and how fast it needs to be accomplished. Integrity becomes crucial when working with your team or with guests and customers. There are times when it’s tough at work but I always tell myself to fight it. If I can overcome the bitterness of the fruit can become sweet and flavorful when it’s ripe.

You are off to a great start but I think the eprofile should be shorter. Think about what is most important to a potential employer:
Hi, my name is Qing, and I am a student studying Hospitality at the CUNY City College of Technology. <– Is this information already expressed?
From the first semester in college until now, I’ve seen a huge transformation from my old self to the new me. <– what is the transformation?
I have become less (more?) independent and started networking with many of the students and faculty in this school! I believe this is an important first step out into the real world because no matter where you are, they can become your mentor and guide you. I wanted to work at a front desk at any major brand hotels. For every new job I find, I learned new skills. <– It is more important to say what you learned
But, I can also use the skills I acquire from previous jobs and perform it in my current place at work. It’s good to learn a skill, but enhancing and sharpening that skill is also important. I work best in a team and always work with integrity. Those are my strongest asset. <– Is this adding value?
