My paper will be exploring designer, Paula Scher’s poster for the “Public Theater”. I will explain how past movements within design such as the New Typography, Bauhaus, Russian Constructivist and Futurism all influence her work. I’ll also be providing a critical examination of this piece and its relationship to past and current theories of design.
