Intrigued, would be my word of choice, I always enjoy hearing unique perspectives on a range of topics. Hearing ideals that differ from my own I believe helps me grow as a person.
During my winter vacation I was lucky enough to go on an amazing cruise to the Caribbean. Being able to chill on a beach and relax in the warm weather was a welcomed change due to the freezing temperatures New York was experiencing. With that be said I bring positive energy to this new semester. Being an online student has both negatives and positive, we miss out on that direct communication but in turn we get to convey our ideas in a pressure free format.
This is a picture of the last cruise i went on, though it is not of something jaw-dropping when i remember this moment of the sunset slowly approaching as we leave the island the notion to appreciate life sparks in my mind. There are many people that do not have the convivence nor the means to take a trip and i am.
Nice picture, I’m still waiting on the day I get to board a cruise ship. it always amazed me how huge cruise ships are. I also miss the direct communication even thought i prefer online classes.
Yes, I am always stunned by how massive they are — like a whole floating city block.
Hi Kenneth
I am with you on the pressure-free. As an extremely shy person, direct communication holds a lot of pressure on me. And that picture is jaw-dropping cause I am one of those people that do not have the means to go on a cruise like you and would do anything to go and cruise and take pictures like that.
I hear you, Debbie.
It’s crazy how we used the same word to describe the classes. We basically have the same reason why we used the word too. Now going from a cruise back to New York weather is even crazier.
: )
We appreciate your perspective, too. It is, I agree, good to hear new things; I often find I feel truly happy when I get to “argue” with a good friend about some concept I am trying to understand.
Wow, I think that picture would definitely inspire thoughts/reflections about Life, Existence, the Past…
