Adversity. I chose this word because I feel we all have challenges but not everyone fully commits to their dreams, admissions, or plans and they just end up quitting. But I believe to have meaningful full growth you need some type of challenge. I’m excited for this class considering English is my favorite subject but I’m a little concerned because the class is fully remote and I find it harder to concentrate and communicate, but those are problems I know I can handle.
As for my winter break, it was ok I got to play basketball indoors which I haven’t done in a minute but I did get sick right after, I probably should’ve listened to my moms and I wore more than just a hoodie outside, but I’m just glad it wasn’t covid.

I didn’t really know which photo to pick so I chose one of my idols to show how someone who is considered one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball had his own struggles, even before he was drafted scouts said “His jump shot needs immediate improvement if he wants to survive a league dominated by the likes of Moses Malone, Parish, and Artis Gilmore”. So what did he do he mastered the jump shot and fadeaway and is now known as the best to do so; not only did he dominate the league for many years he surpassed all those other players. I find inspiration in how hungry and driven he was and it makes me want to put in the work to reach higher levels, just so maybe one day I can fly like Mike.
