LiveWell Session 3

I completed my 3rd session and the results are as what I wanted to see. Action stage for healthy eating and exercise and maintenance stage for stress management. So far, I had lot of fun with Live Well program and I would say this class would be the one the most important class that I took through which I leaned so much about healthy lifestyle and I would try to focus on these three areas even after the class because before the Live Well program I never thought about the importance of exercise and diet, now I know exercise is not just about making muscles but being healthy and fit.

Live Well 3rd Full Session

As I complete the third and last session on Live Well. I’m currently in the ‘contemplation’ stage. Since the previous session I’ve incorporated more greens and fruits into my diet and I feel more energetic as a result. I’ve reduced caffeine intake and started taking a multivitamin for days I feel I do not have adequate nutrients in my food. Finals week is coming up and the juggling school and work has been hectic for me. I’ve been taking 30 minute breathers to reduce stress. After the semester is over I intend to look into fitness trackers so that I can start logging my steps and be more proactive about my health.

Livewell Session 3

Before the semester started I decided that I wanted to become healthier. A part of me was scared because I had visited this avenue several times and always found myself reverting to my old ways. However, this time I wanted to be successful. When I started livewell I was so thrilled because I knew that this program was going to be the jumpstart to my lifestyle change. Not only has Livewell helped me to stay consistent with eating nutritional food that fuel my body but also I’ve found new ways to cope with stress and depression. I now go to the gym four times a week faithfully and the days that I am busy and will not be able to make it to the gym, I workout from home. My perspective has completely changed when it comes to eating healthy, exercising and dealing with stress. I now look forward to going to the gym and blowing off some steam. The way that I conduct myself and react to challenging situations has completely changed for the better.

Session #3 Maintaining my Physique and bettering healthy eating situation.

It was not long ago when I first got my experience with livewell. After completing all the 3 sessions and 9 exercises, I can say that it is a great system to improve one’s situation weather it is health,  stress addiction, or managing difficult life circumstances and there are a lot of these. I got numerous useful advises and opened my eyes wider on things like healthy eating, fruit intake and balancing life’s rest/work in right proportions. Overall I will maintain the esquires habits  and recommend the system to others.

Livewell Post 3

Continuing to eat healthy and gain weight the proper way. Protein shake contains 1 cup of 2% milk, 1 cup of oatmeal, 2 scoops of protein,  and 4 tbsp of peanut butter.

I’ve completed my Livewell Session 3 and the results good. The section I am trying to improve is eat healthier. I am taking action to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my meals and daily routine. I am feeling better each day and more energized. I will continue to do my best in eating healthier with more fruits and vegetables on a regular basis from now and on. I am aiming to get back to my pre-knee surgery weight and physique within 8 months.

Livewell Session 2

A Healthy Mind = A Longer Life

Live Well Session Two

This nutrition post couldn’t have came at a better time. About a month ago, I got food poisoning over a weekend and I think it was from some under cooked meat. I think this was a reset for my eating habits. Since then, I really started to cut meat out of my diet or if I do eat meat, I cook/order it well done. I’ve started to try to include vegetables in every meal I eat and started to eat a lot more eggs especially for breakfast. I’ve cut out a lot of sugars from my diet and started to eat more fruits and nuts, especially pistachios. I’ve also started to walk my dog in the morning daily for at least 30 minutes instead of waiting for my brother to do it later.

After completing my session 2, I noticed that now I’m at the action level for healthy eating, exercise and on maintenance level for stress management. I feel proud that It has changed my eating habits for good. While going through the question I realized how important healthy died can be and also made it easy for me by recommending what I should be eating and also the amount. For exercise, I was at the precontemplation level in the beginning and now I’m on the action level because I made promise to myself to work out at least 5 times a week. I even kept my exercise equipment right next to where I spend most of the day when I’m home which is right next to my computer and I make sure to take break once in a while and do little exercise so that way I don’t have to take extra time out for my exercise. Although I’m not very consistent and my exercise time changes day to day but at least it’s better then not doing at all. For stress management I was on maintenance in the beginning of starting the live well program and I’m still on the same level, I really like the story of other students who talk about how they dealt with stress and what they did, this also helped me a lot.
