Are you currently working in an estimating role, but find the construction industry too slow-paced and âold-schoolâ? Are you looking to broaden your skillset to drive the strategy of a growing business while simultaneously taking on more of a lead estimator role? Paintzen is looking for people just like you to add to our team! In this role, you will help drive our processes and develop new strategies for our Sales teams, while using the estimating skills youâve already sharpened.

A free, three-day training program for CUNY students who are interested in internships and careers in the fields of energy efficiency & energy management services, corporate sustainability, facilities management, operations, engineering, and public policy.
We have paid internships available this summer and fall and we’ll be recruiting from our Energy Boot Camp graduates – if you’re interested in gaining professional experience in this field.
The 7th annual Energy Boot Camp for CUNY students will be held Wednesday – Friday, May 30-June 1, 9am â 4pm. You must be currently enrolled as a CUNY student to be eligible and you must attend all 3 days of the boot camp. However, we can make exceptions if you have class or work commitments â please be sure to explain that in the last question, below.

Eligibility
To be considered for a Building Performance Lab (BPL) paid internship position this summer or fall, students must apply and be accepted to the Energy Boot camp, and must attend all 3 days of training. Completing the energy boot camp is a prerequisite for BPL internship, unless a student has completed at least one academic course focused on energy-in-buildings (ex:Â Building Energy Modeling, HVAC, Low-Energy Design). Note that not all those who participate in energy boot-camp will be placed in an internship- but the training you’ll get will be valuable in your career!
Students majoring in: Engineering, Urban Sustainabilty, Statistical analysis, Computer science, Information technology, Business, or related fields.
They are looking for someone that is familiar with construction estimating for new construction projects. They are also looking for someone with office skills to work in their office for general office help.

Assistant Project Management Intern needed for General Contractor. Must be close to or have recently completed a degree in construction project management. This position could lead to a full time position for the right candidate. Must be sharp, eager to learn and take initiative. Candidate will shadow the owner and learn all the ins and outs of the construction industry. The owner is seeking someone who can eventually grow into a full-time construction project manager that will take on projects and report directly to the owner.
