I chose the automatic exposure settings on photo A and liked the look of it because the alpaca had good lighting. If there wasn’t a shadow on the left it would look even better. For this photo I slightly lowered the exposure.I chose this picture from group B because of the moody feel the low exposure brought.
I chose this photo from group C because the alpaca looks whiter than the wall with this slight exposure. For photo D this was also with a slightly lowered exposure.
I laid out a piece of cloth that covered both the background and underneath the pieces of paper to create one flowing background. I tried different angles and levels of exposure and these were the ones I liked best because of how the darkness allows for more detail to come out.
For the background I did the same thing as I did with the first sets of photos to have a consistent background. I liked these images the best because of the shadows that contrast from the background and color of the paper. My favorite is the one I shot from above the pile.
