Bresson’s ideas on how compositional elements can come together in a decisive moment are using shapes; he says it helps show rhyme. He is particularly fond of Geometry. Curves, lines, and designs are what he pays attention to. He says once a moment passes that is the end of it, as you can’t ask them to pose or remain in the same position to capture the photo.
