This photo worked for me today because I wanted it to be a still movement. It’s very fun and I love the scenery in the back with the trees , the only issue I had was the tripod other than that this shot seems perfect for camera movement.

Today in class we went out in to the park and we practiced with our motion shots. It was a bit tricky at first trying to capture the image and focusing on what you wanted to make in motion. I soon got the hang of it after a few attempts and practice with the camera.

In this picture we had two subjects and they were swinging on the swings, This picture shows movement of the subjects as they go back and forth. I used a very low shutter speed to make the subjects to have the blurry effect. While keeping everything in frozen. I used a tripod to keep the camera still so they wouldn’t be movement at my end.

This is a photo using the panning motion. You can clearly see the car while the background is blurred. The shutter speed was 1/30 and made it a little difficult for me to capture just the clear image of the van.

I believe this is my best shot from the street photography assignment. This was one of the last shots I took walking back to the school. The main idea of this assignment was to be brave by shooting subjects at times without their knowledge but also being bold enough to ask permission to take a shot. Another thing i discovered about this assignment was being patient enough to wait for the perfect moment and being aware of when that moment comes. Finally, I really loved that this photo has a classic New York street attitude.

This photo was taken with a higher shutter speed, so I could freeze the dog in motion. As you can see, all four of its legs are off the ground.

I captured this photo by getting on a low angle. I decided to use the orange color on the floor as a leading path for the subject. This would be a frozen photograph since there isn’t anything blurry.

This picture was taken by using the flash on the left, to have more of an equal light on the model.

I feel as though this is my strongest picture because it has a full view of the subject while showing contrast between the light and dark causing a very dramatic effect. This is comparable to that of an album cover.

The way I got this shot, was having the reflector to left side of the model and reflect the flash, so the light would hit the model’s face. I light how the light created his expression to have a aggressive look because of the light. I like how the pose of the model also goes along with it as well. Even if I didn’t know this picture came out like this, Still like how it came out at the very end.
