SO today on the Dara show we took picture with FOOOD !! I think food is a bit difficult to take picture because you have to find the right feel and the image.

i wanted to show the reflection in this photo only because I like how the imagery was shown here.

Out of all the shots, these were some of my favorite. The yellow pepper seemed to work the best and stand out more compared to the other fruits. One thing that I just now realized is the cropped bowl on the right.

Today we did food photography in class and these are m favorite images I took. The first one with the strawberries I loved the lighting and what made me love this more is the reflection within the image and how sharp it is. The second image with the cupcakes I loved because I like how the focus blurs from each row of the cupcakes.

I like how this picture depicts a feeling of loneliness – the flower is just standing there by itself with nothing around it. There is a strong contrast between the yellow flower and the background. The way the light hits directly on it makes it stand out more and adds drama.

This was my favorite picture from the class assignment. I like how Isabella’s positioning works against the diagonal lines in the background. Her face and body is well lit and there is a good sense of contrast with her surroundings because of that.

This is one of my favorite shot I took during the photoshoot. What works is the rule of thirds even if it’s off for a bit. All the attention is going to the white flower because of the black background. The white petals are working to pop out more. The only trouble I had was that I needed to step back and zoom in to the flower. Most of the time the camera wouldn’t take the picture so I had to step back and then take the picture.

I like this photo because the light seems calm and not too bright. Also how the flowers are being placed, I used the rule of thirds.
