I took these photos in Central Park around the upper west side. I think these photos have elements that focus on leading lines, composition, and good balance between negative and positive space through the use of colors and actitivity.
(The other +20 photos are on black board)
For my fairytale photo shoot, I’d do Red Riding Hood. I have a black cape(I can look for a red one if that’s an issue) and take the photos upstate in my friends backyard. He lives in a woodsy area and he has a big pit bull I can use as my wolf. Dogs aren’t supper obedient so it might be easier to take separate photos of Red Riding Hood then some of the dog. But I will try and get the model and dog to pose together.
These are my favorite photos of today’s class because I love the softness of the yellow and pink in the flowers with the white back ground. I choose the second picture because the positioning, the flowers look dead so I laid them on the table to take those photos. I like the last one because of the dark flowers against the black back ground.
I choose this as my best natural lighting photo because all my other pictures had her in the hallway with the light above/behind her creating a nice even light. I thought it was interesting to have the opposite and have the bar of light casing a light shadow her face and body.
