Field Trip

On my field trip today I learned about all types of printers and their different jobs. I learned that there are different printers that do many jobs. Some are  just simple black and white, those are the ones that teachers use, and then there are the ones that involve a lot of color and hand on hand assistant. One of my favorite printers were the ones you put images on. Bands charge up to 50 dollars on a t-shirt and they did it for less then a dollar. The process takes about 5 minutes into. What the printer does is it reads the image and prints it on the shirt. You can print just about anything. There was another one that involves envelopes and the machine does the stamping of address. In just a matter of seconds about 2,000 envelopes had address on them and it was very cool.It was very old school but also very cool. And then there’s the very first one that they showed us. I still don’t know what the machine did, but from the example they showed us it made a lot of color magazines and brooches. It was very beautiful and cool. But I think that my favorite one was the one that printed the image on shirts. I couldn’t take a picture of that one because I was literally to excited and forgot. But a lot of my classmates got a shirt. It was very cool.

Quote

Explanation- The quote basically means that you have to let go of the life you planned in your head, and allow the course of life to take you where you are meant to go. The caterpillar is a great example of this quote. For a caterpillar to become a butterfly it has to stop eating hang upside down from a twig or leaf and spin itself a silky cocoon or molts into a shiny chrysalis. Within its protective casing, the caterpillar radically transforms its body, eventually emerging as a butterfly. The font I used was, Baskerville old face because it is very elegant and a neat font that goes really well with the image.

¬†Explanation- The second enhance quote is about relationships. Sometimes people want to continue a relationship because it’s something that is familiar to them and they think they are¬†‚ÄúComfortable‚ÄĚ But sometimes they fail to realize that the relationship is dead and they have to move on and let go. The font that I use for this quote, is Berlin Sans FB Demi Bold. The font went really well with the colors in the background, the contrast was balanced out.

Quote

Explanation- In the last enhance quote I decided to go with something that would translate childhood into adulthood. Everyone at some point in their life needs to let go of the children they once had and accept adulthood. The little girl letting go of the balloon is a great example of the meaning of the quote. The font that was used was Harlow solid italic. I wanted something clean but also impactful.
