  • Lesson 4/2.4 Transformation of Nonlinear Equations into Separable Equations

OpenLab

  • Bad at math? Instructions here

WeBWorK: Due Monday, February 13, 11:59pm

  • First Order Equations-Separable
  • First Order Equations-Nonlinear Bernoulli
  • The set First Order Equations-Nonlinear Homogeneous covers material from this Thursday’s lecture but isn’t due until Monday, February 20
  • One-time extension: last week’s sets are now due at 11:59pm, Tuesday, February 7 (full credit, hard deadline)
    • Introduction-Basic Concepts
    • First Order Equations-Direction Fields
    • First Order Equations-Linear Nonhomogeneous

Project #1

  • Part 1 due February 27, Part 2 due March 6
  • Instructions here

Student office hours

  • This week:
    • Tuesday 11:30am to 12:00pm & 2:30pm to 3:00pm
    • Thursday 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Coming up

  • Test #1: Chapter 2, Week 4
    • You will be permitted to bring a formula sheet to use during the test. Your formula sheet must fit on one side of one letter-sized paper and must be hand written by you. You will hand your formula sheet in with your test.
    • You can start making a rough copy of your formula sheet now. As you complete your WeBWorK sets, keep track of which formulas you used for which sections.
