Having a conversation with my leader as a churro cart runner. Making sure that what I am doing with the labels is what is right. Getting a clarification that the TPHC labels are how long the products can last for safety reasons, but when it comes to holding their quality, they must be discarded within the 45 minutes so that the guests are able to receive the products in their peak condition. I asked if there was any leniency because it was really hard for me to be discarding all of the food. I was able to get a clarification that as long as the product looks okay and there is nothing wrong with it visibly, and that the replacement is on its way and the product is still good to serve. This serves as an example as to how communication is key between the people in the stands and the cooker that makes the products because they might have a rule that they also have to follow such as cooking minimally to avoid food waste. There is a recent rule of the churro runner utilizing a radio for more effective communication, I was able to use it properly by giving updates to the people working in Westward Ho and Churro Wagon that I am en route to deliver the products from the kitchen. I tried to follow the radio etiquette that was taught during training.

I was able to get a cast compliment from a guest because of creating magic by simply giving them a bacon skewer from Mickey after they were having second thoughts of purchasing it. Another one is from my coordinator because we had a successful and early close than my regular out time. Encounter with a rude guest who was extremely upset because she did not get a discount from being an Annual Pass holder. Helping churro cooker with closing kitchen wiping down surfaces, sanding churros with cinnamon sugar, and delivering it to the churro wagon. Working together with a coordinator, one cast member who was supposed to hard close one of the stands calling out causing the schedule to be mixed up and had two coordinators to figure something out that would work the best way possible.
