    1) There are three types of gradients in Adobe illustrator. The first gradient is linear gradient. Linear gradient is when a gradient goes from one end to another. Then there is radical gradient which is a gradient that is pronounced in the middle. Lastly there is freeform gradient which is a mix of colors in random order within the shape. You can access these gradients by locating the gradient window on the right side of Adobe illustrator. You can also select Windows and scroll down to find “Gradient” as well as “CTRL + F9” as a shortcut.
    2) With the gradient panel open, three ways we can change the color of a gradient stop is firstly, by double clicking on the color stop to open the color panel. Secondly, you can manipulate the opacity and value of the color stop. Thirdly, we can transition to the swatches panel and select many colors from there.

When working with gradients, the user should have the gradient panel open as well as the gradient tool ready. To bring up the gradient panel, the user can navigate to the menu bar at the top of their illustrator application, go to “Window,” and then select “Gradient.” Alternatively, the user can also bring up this panel by using the keyboard shortcut: Command + F9 (Mac) or CTRL + F9 (Windows). This will also hide the gradient panels if the user chooses to use the shortcut a second time. At the top of the gradient panel, the user should see the “Type” setting followed by three icons that each represent the different type of gradient the user may select from: linear gradient, radial gradient, and freeform gradient. The user can edit their object’s linear gradient and radial gradient by dragging the gradient stops along the slider of the gradient annotator. This alters where on the object that the colors of the gradient stops are blended. This can also be accomplished by dragging the gradient stops on the slider present in the gradient panel. For freeform gradient, however, the user will notice that the gradient panel will display a new setting called “Draw.” The options that follow after this setting are points and lines. In the points option, the user can add and move around points on their object; this will cause blending of the colors in that area. In the lines option, those same points are still present, but the user is given the option to create lines and curves to direct the blending of the colors in their object.
To change the colors of a gradient stop, the user can choose to either work with their swatches panel, the gradient panel, or the gradient annotator. Before starting, the user will need to make sure that their swatches panel and gradient panel are not hidden. They can have these panels shown in their workspace by navigating to the Illustrator application menubar, Windows, and Swatches/Gradient. In the swatches panel, there are 8 icons present on the bottom of the panel. Clicking the fourth icon from the left should open up a menu that will show the different swatches by type. The user can select “Show Gradient Swatches” from this menu to fill their object with a preset gradient. In the gradient panel, there should be a slider at the bottom of the panel. On this slider, there are gradient stops that the user can double-click to change the color of the gradient stop. The last method involves the user having the object of their choice selected. The user should then select the gradient tool on their toolbar or use the shortcut (G) to bring up the gradient tool. The gradient annotator should then appear on the selected object. Similarly to the method involving the gradient panel, the user can double-click the gradient stops on the gradient annotator to edit the color of the stop.

I liked how you included the shortcuts, it makes it easier for me to actually apply it to my work without feeling the need to search it up.

    1) Three kinds of gradients in Illustrator are Linear, Radial, and Freeform. In addition to changing the type of gradient, you can edit it too. This refers to the fact that you can move it, choose its angle, shift aspect ratio, change and delete colors, modify opacity, alter the location, and reverse your gradient. To use the gradient menu, you go to ‘Windows” at the top menu of Illustrator. Then, you scroll down and click on ‘Gradient’. You can also do this by simply pressing ‘Command’ + F9 from your keyboard if you’re on a Mac.
    2) There are many ways to change the color of the gradient stop. To begin, you can open the gradient menu by going to ‘Window’, ‘Gradient’ and clicking F9 on your keyboard if on Mac. Once you see the circles at the bottom of the color bar, you can double click them. It will show how it can be moved from one color to another. Also, you can notice a white bar with circles which you can double click them and change their color as you wish. Another way to change the gradient is by going to the ‘Color Stop’ top menu. Then, you click on ‘Edit Gradient.’

    1) In order to know what type of controls you have over the gradients you have to be aware of the types of gradient fills. For example, there is Linear Gradient and Radial Fills. But, the Radial Fill could be altered to an Elliptical Fill. If you were to click the Gradient Tool on the toolbar section, there would be a toggle where you can pick which type of Gradient you want.

    2) You can change the color of a gradient in multiple ways! One for example, would be going to the gradient tool mentioned before and you would be able to control the gradient from there. There would be a gradient slider in which you can choose to your preference. Double click the color stop on the art piece you were working on, it would either open the Swatches or the Colors panel, in which you are able to pick to your liking. Additionally, if you want to change the gradient into a specific swatch, that you can reuse multiple times. This is how you would start it off. First, you would go to the properties panel and click the new swatch and pick the color of your liking. One you name this specific swatch and you can always revisit it if you would like. You can also use the eyedropper tool. At first you would click the color stop and take the eyedropper tool labeled (i) and hold shift as you bring the dropper from another object that has either a gradient or a solid color.

In adobe Illustrator you have three different type of gradient linear, radial, and freeform. Linear gradient is the gradient going up to down, radial gradient is coming outward from the middle of the gradient, and freeform shows random forms. the way you can access this is by dragging your mouse to the gradient tool. You can also change the angles of the gradient, which color will show in the gradient, and how much of each color will show. To change the color of the gradient you do the same thing. go to the gradient tool, click on it and under the three type of gradients you should see a slide bar where you can add colors or remove colors. you can click on the little circles on the bar to change the colors and drag it to change how much of a color will show and where it will show on the gradient. You can remove gradient colors by clicking on the circle and clicking the trash can on the end of the slide bar. there are three different ways to change the colors one way was how i said, click on the gradient tool and change it by clicking the circles on the slide bar that pops up. Another way is dragging the swatches onto the gradient and the final way is by going to the color window

    1) There are three types of gradients in Adobe Illustrator: Linear, Radial, and Freeform. In Illustrator, you can not only change the type of gradient but also edit it. For example, you can move it, choose its angle, shift aspect ratio, change and delete colors, modify opacity, alter the location, and reverse your gradient.

    2) There are few ways to change the color of the gradient stop. The first step to change the color of a gradient is to go to the gradient edit menu. To find the gradient menu on the computer, we press CTRL and F9 buttons. You can change it by double-clicking the circles at the bottom of the color bar, which shows a smooth transition from one color to another.
Secondly, you can also see another white stripe highlighted in the circle, located on the project artboard in the selected object you applied the gradient on. While moving your gradient maybe, you noticed the white bar with circles similar to the ones on the gradient menu itself on the right. So same as in the first case, you can double-click on these circles and change their color. The third way to change gradient color stop is at the top menu Color Stop. After clicking Edit Gradient, you can press on the white bar gradient stop circle on your project or the same circle on the gradient menu on the right and then go top menu. You will see the Color Stop panel opened. Now you can change the gradient colors by using the color swatches panel or Recolor Artwork panel.

I like the fact that you guide step by step and describe what is being shown on the window.

    Types of gradients:
Linear gradient shows a gradient that goes from one side to another. Radical gradient shows a gradient that starts from the middle. Freeform gradient shows random colors. To access the gradient window, go to “windows” on top of illustrator, then click on “gradient”. You can also access the gradient window by pressing control plus F9 (command plus F9 if you are on a mac).

    Moving gradient:
Select an object with a gradient, then use the gradient tool (g key). What you see on your object is a white stick with the same things as the gradient bar. Moving the white stick with your mouse moves the gradient. You can also press “Edit Gradient” in the gradient windows to get that white stick. The black boxes at the ends of the white stick change the length of the gradient. You can also rotate the gradient by holding the black boxes and moving them around.

To change the angle of a gradient, go to the gradient window and look at the angle icon.
To reverse the gradient, look for the icon with rectangles and triangles in the gradient window.

    Changing Gradient color:
Go to the gradient window and click on the gradient square to change the color of your object to a gradient. Look at the bar in the gradient window. You see two color circles at the bottom and one diamond on the top. You can control how much gradient color you want by moving the color circle. The diamond on top controls the middle of the gradient between the color circles. You can drag colors from the swatches windows and put them on one of the color circles to change the color of the gradient. You can also change the color by going to the color window. Another way to change color is by double-clicking on the color circles.
