This is my fourth try. It’s the same concept with the flags. US Flag. Bangladesh Flag and the Italian Flag! Hoping I did this just right!

I tried to do it again as my 3rd try to see if I did this right it’s the same concept which are the three flags. US Flag as the present, Bangladesh flag as the past, and the Italian flag as the future.

(I didn’t want to do this project since it’s so personal but I feel like it would be a waste not to.)

This is my Bezold Project  A football for my past since I was sure I was going to be a football player when I grew up  I won trophies etc but I got injured during my senior year and I couldn’t get a scholarship and that’s when my life went downhill. The crutches are my present also symbolizing my struggles during my downhill moment with depression, betrayal, etc. life was a hot mess for me. I lost all my emotions and became a robot until I met different people and experience different things my emotions are slowly coming back if anything my artwork expresses it. As for the joker card that’s my future due to the fact that whenever I plan or romanticize a future life throws curve balls at you so I’ll have to see.

As terms of design, The colors I had were Red with a Blue outline I started to use a blue background for photoshop with yellow stripes as the foreground so I can get one with orange since they are unfortunately something happened and I didn’t do it right until I moved away from my computer screen taking a break and saw that both were orange which shocked me and had to share it.

For my bezold project I chose things that represent me like a cool pacifier for my past, my two necklaces for my present, and the name “GANTI” for my future. There are only 3 colors used in this image. I chose yellow, blue, and brown. By playing with colors I saw that the same brown looks like two different shades of brown when it’s next to two different colors.

This my bezold effect project, I painted a cherry blossom and in every box I changed the colors to make the bezold effect .

This piece is based on the song called “Promises” by Jhene Aiko. The song is about two things. The first half is about her daughter and how she feels bad and does not like that she is not there for her at all times. Especially with little things in her daughters life occurs. She isn’t able to be with her at all times because she is an artist and was always on road.  But she reminds her that everything she is doing is for her daughter. She asks her daughter to promise her she will be alright even when she is not there and in the song her daughter actually sings in it as well and promises her mom that she will be alright. The second half of the song is about her brother who passed away. Jhene has had lots of trouble getting through her brothers death. In the song she says “Don’t think I can make it” and then she says she hears her brother say that she better not do anything crazy because her daughter needs her. Also he reminds her that he’s always with her in every moment and everywhere she is. She promises him that she is going to be alright. This song is very powerful and gives me a lot of emotion. Her album cover is similar to the background. I wanted to portray a heavenly sunset look. The clouds signify her brother still being there. And the hands making a promise represents Jhenes promises with both her daughter and her brother.

This is my Bezold Effect project what I did was I made 3 flags one being the US Flag since I live here all my life. The second flag is the Bangladesh flag. I was born there and I have visited so many times. The third flag is the I Italian flag. I designed that flag because in the future I would love to go to Italy and explore, since I love traveling to a lot of places.

This is my first attempt to do the Bezold Effect project. I don’t know if this is how I have to do it. What I did was I made the flag design from different countries so the past I designed the Bangladesh flag since I traveled there, the present I made the US flag since I’ve been living here all my life and for the future I made the Italian flag because in the future I would like to go to Italy.

The song I chose is called Mansion by NF. In this song he basically talks about how the mansion represents his mind and how he’s trying to get rid of his fears.
