Hi my name is Azaria Gia Clouden and I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I am a freshman at City Tech and I am currently working to get accepted into the Nursing Program. When I grow up I would love to be a Midwife. ( deliver babies!) Pregnancy and Newborns have always been so interesting to me so I think it would be the perfect job! I am half Italian and half Saint Lucian. Growing up I felt out of place because I didn’t have any other mixed family. I am still working on accepting myself and figuring out who I truly am! I don’t really have any hobbies. I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends or cooking. One more fun fact about me is that I am a twin! However we are nothing alike. I think lockdown had both positive and negative effects on me. High school was extremely toxic for me so I was kinda glad to leave early however I lost a lot of motivation to do the most basic things during lockdown. Overall I think Im going to really enjoy this class and learn a lot!

I had forgotten that midwifery has made a real comeback this century. What a wonderful career to aim for! Are there any other medical people in your family? It’s a great choice. And by the way, I absolutely hated high school — it still gives me nightmares even after all these years. College was way better, and I hope you find it that way, too!
