- Bunn writes, “You are already an author.” To me this means that no matter what we write that makes us authors, even if is a text to a friend, an email to a teacher, or even a comment on YouTube. We don’t need to write a 5000 page book or professionals essays to be considered an author, is the same context of anything you make is art. Some of the things I have written already would be poems, short stories, essays, emails, text messages, notes, remainders, homework and other things. All of my existing expertise will help me in college reading and writing career as I have experience writing college level essays, so it should flow easier when writing essays, and other projects.
2. Something that I notice in Bunn’s article that I would like to try to do in my own writing is the way he was able to connect with the readers. Bunn made their points very clear to understand and to follow. So for my writings I would like to do the same whether it’s a persuasive essay, informative or opinion on based essay.
3. Well I personally don’t really like or rather, I don’t get used to it yet (and I been doing this for years). But yes it is supper helpful because you paraphrase it so you can understand better, it also helps you find the info you need faster so you don’t have to read the whole article again.
Perusall is definitely a new piece of technology, but as you say, annotation is something many of us have done for years. I’m really happy to see that you got he was about connecting with readers — we often forget about the audience.
