  1. When Mike Bunn writes “You are already an author” he means that we have been writing so much, that we are considered authors in a way. Every day we text our friends and family, read short texts online or even read. In his POV that already counts towards being an author. We have been writing essays in school our whole lives. Writing helps you exceed in college. As you write more, the better you become.
  2. Bunn really likes to engage the readers. He wanted them to think. He had some questions that made me question myself and my writing.
  3. Annotating was really that hard, but it felt refreshing. Having not done it for months can help you jog your memory and make annotating easier. I learned that reading in a particular way can help you write better.
