The TedTalk “Single Stories” is mostly about the impact that storied can have on people. What I found interesting about the speakers story was that she went into crucial detail about her tedtalk. What I found very important about her tedtalk was how she put her stories in chronological order in the way they happened. From when she was younger and saw the homeless person to how she came to the United States to go to college. Tell stories in chronological order is key because you dont want to throw off the person you’re tell the story and confuse them.
The part that plays from getting information is the visualization. This is key because if you tell a story and you want to make it feel real, you have to make the people feel as if they were there with you the entire time. You have to make them picture the sights that you saw and the people that you spoke to.
That’s a wonderful comment about how visualization plays such an important role in transferring information. Also how chronological order — which is very much a part of how to tell a story — works.
