Purpose of the TEDTalk overall: How to speak so that people want to listen| Julian Treasure

INTRO:

The first thing that the presenter says is “Our voice is the most powerful thing in the world where it can either start a war or say I love you”

Gossiping. which the presenter states “Speaking ill of someone who isn’t present”.

Judging-“it is very hard to listen to someone when you know your being judged.

Julian explains the concept that we each have toolboxes which “we can pull a few tools and play with”

• Final element: suggestion or advice about how to take what you’ve said and use it to their advantage, question for them to think about, quote & who said it, analogy.

Register, Timbre, Prosody, Pace, Pitch, Volume are all the tools that we have in our tool box says Julian treasure and states that “You owe it to yourself to take a look at this toolbox” Also that powerful speaking leads to conscious listening or creating sounds consciously and consuming the sound consciously.
