Practice Session 1

As a reader, the way Lili started the writing was very catchy and created the anticipation to keep reading as she used the beginning of the first sentence using commas. In addition, in her writing she use “?” at the end of some sentences, and as a reader it made question myself to think about it as I read, which feels engaging to what the writer is saying. And, the content in her first paragraph about the philosophy is a very interesting topic that she brought, which made think about my life, how there are some things that we only think about when we are in our academic environment compared to our personal lives.

Practice Session 2

I like the way you set up setting in the story, it was detailed in sense of way that I was able to imagine the moment as I was reading it. I also liked the way you personified the animals and impersonating them to show how the animals were interacting in the setting. And, I liked the way you ended the excerpt with a thought of a question.
