So far, what I have seen I understand is that the main ingredients for digital literacy narrative (DLN) are to have an advance online system that describes how you learned to write and read through technology. This story could be about the experience that we get during the learning process. From those experiences, we learn to shape our skills. We learn from experiences because it guides us the way to improve. “Digital storytelling is a perfect opportunity that students need in order to create their own stories” (Marva’s story). Digital storytelling reveals the perfection of how we all have been reading through different devices. We all have been through the process to learn the impactful way of writing and reading through technology whether it’s through the different systems of computers or phones.

I think Social Media would be the best place to get started with my digital literacy narrative (DLN) because it’s the place where I begin most of my learning process experience which thoughts me how to work effectively through different techniques of software. It could be the way I have been reading and writing through emails, Microsoft Word, browsers,  PowerPoint, Excel, etc. “Textbooks are easier to read and focus on”. I believe that for most students textbooks are important in their education because it gives them the best understanding as well as covering all parts of the lesson they need to get knowledge for the subject or topic. However, as we go we need to use technologies that are developing because it’s a great source of life to start with. One best experience I had though the technology is discord, as I used to it from the last half-year just chatting and talking with friends as we play games and now it’s most important to me since I have been using discord in most classes to talk with professors and some classmates. Nowadays, everything is all about social media because Social Media plays a very important role in today’s life, as Social Media are online tools that let people learn new information, share ideas and interact with new people.

Some questions that stand out to me about the digital literacy narrative is why does digital literacy matter? What are the ways to start a digital literacy narrative (DLN)? Why do we write digital literacy narratives?
