Preparing for Emergency Situations in Disney World was not much that we had to do. The Hurricane happened a week from the beginning of our program and we still had not every been to traditions therefore we were not allowed to attend the resorts to help out or anything else. We were emailed a couple times from Disney telling us what we needed to do to prepare for the hurricane like, buying food in cans, buying a lot of water, and food to have at home in case we could not leave the building. As for the night time we were told we should stay away from windows and glass doors and to simply wait until the storm was over for any help that we needed because there was no way of them being able to fix anything during the hurricane. The article names couple of things resorts should do during hurricanes that as I was informed Disney really did like maintaining guest and employee “operating food service, offering in-reason entertainment. preparing for guests to be confined for long periods of time in their rooms and arranging for the ability to use news ine-dia to give—and get—information.”  All Disney resorts had food service, guest entertainment to keep all the guests safe inside, and some had TVs where all the guests could keep up with the news. I believe Disney was very well prepared when it came to resorts and their guests. They also closed the parks before the hurricane until they cleaned up and fixed everything for their guests to be safe.
