At work, I’m getting more assignments on cash register. It’s a challenge remembering where everything is and ensuring guests understand our dining plan but it’s honestly not horrible.
I’m really excited that we’re almost at the three month mark–I cannot wait to go back to NYC but staying focused is a priority. My classes that I’m taking are nice it’s just adjusting to my new schedule that is a challenge but I know I’ll be okay. I’m glad I found the textbook required for a decent price. Working in a new group seems like it’ll be a challenge (even more so now I’m noticing) just because I’m so used to doing things on my own–especially at work sometimes but I have faith I’ll pass this class. Not trying to be perfect but I do want to pass and just get back home safely.
Keeping up the momentum and really making an effort to be 100% with each and every guest is a priority and challenge. Getting to create magical moments and actually sitting down and talking and laughing with guests makes it worth the long hours. The meetings we had with the proprietor of my resort went well. I have another one coming up this Saturday I believe. I am looking forward to selling shaved ice to guests. I have not done that yet but it seems fun. I just know I don’t want to start slacking just because I’m tired and stressed.
I finally explored more of Florida Mall. I made a new friend there and told her she can come visit me in NYC. She’s from Florida and wants to be a cosmetologist.
Here’s a fellow CP and I who’s doing the culinary program. His name is Tanner and is from South Carolina… funny fellow. I think he wants to stay with Disney but I told him he can come visit NYC as well
Wow! Can’t believe it’s been 3 months for you in the program! Time really flies! I just got my textbook for the class too! I had to do some digging to find a good deal, but I was able to find an e-textbook quite cheap! Haven’t see you in a few weeks, hope to see you soon xxx.
Thanks Sam! I miss you too. Come to All Star one day 🙂
