A VoluntEARS Experience

Today I volunteered at an event called United Against Poverty. It is a store that sells everything such as groceries, home goods, and medicine. They sell everything for a price much cheaper than what they retail for. As a volunteer what I did today was organize produce and throw out the old ones. we also helped organize the back of the house. Getting to work with this organization for a few hours helped me realize how important community service is. Also the impactit has on the life of others.
