“My Literacy Narrative – an Excerpt.”

In one part of my “literacy narrative”, my experience with the writing, “ I think one of the problems is that I don’t like writing at all seems to never come out particularly well so in some sense I was discouraged.

I want to explain some more on why I don’t like writing but mostly English  in my case with handwritten work most of the time it doesn’t come out I gotta think so hard on what’s the purpose of the story or sometimes the main idea its just to hard to think and write at the same time . So I have so I continue to rewrite until I get something  but it’s mostly a blank piece of paper and random stuff I write cause it kills me to think about ideas on a story that makes no sense to me.

We get that sense  when people understand the motivation in  writing  the words that come  out of your own mouth can reach people’s mind because certain words are meaningful in life. But for me writing is painful and I do respect  all the  publishers work on writing famous books but in my case writing is backbreaking.

I understand where you are coming from when I was younger I highly disliked my handwriting and as I compared mine to others I got even more self conscious about it. Practice makes perfect and over time i’ve learned to like my handwriting and if don’t have to type it then ill write and it is therapeutic to me now. I also agree with you about reading words off of a paper are more meaningful than hearing someone else, as if oneself is telling it to ourselves.

I completely understand where your coming from also. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the motivation to rite or sometimes it’s just a blur that you have to overcome. But usually, at the end everyone has something they can write about, they just have to put their mind to it.
