Intro from S. S.

My first word: “dreamy”

That’s what comes to mind before starting this class. It feels disembodied to teach people and not see them; to have to reach out across a blank space and get to know 22 people who are strangers to me (at present) and also to utterly know that I will Change their Life in Some Way. And they, mine.

Weird.

I write down my dreams every day (or try to). That’s why I chose this picture; it is my current dream journal.

This is so cool I’ve always wanted to have a dream book because my dreams are so weird, for example sometimes I dream I have powers

This is actually news to me. I never heard of anybody jotting down their dreams. I truly wish this class was in person, this is a class I would enjoy going to every week.

Ashley and Ashly (actually, that is quite surreal/dream-like — your names are so similar!),
I must have made 30 or 40 notebooks over the years. I have written down my dreams for decades. Sometimes really closely, sometimes not.
If you think it would be interesting for me to discuss the “Unconscious” in class, let me know.

I would love to have a discussion about that I really like talking about my dreams and I’m always curious as to what they mean. I even search it up, even though it might not even be true.
