To students taking this class next semester, I suggest that they just be on top of their work and be responsible. It’s very easy to pass this class, and it’s also very easy to fail it. The work is fairly straightforward, it can be done relatively quickly, and you can get it out of the way as soon as possible, thus making your schedules easier. It’s quite some writing, but the assignment topics you’ll have to write about aren’t too tedious, and the major projects are fairly interesting so you won’t get bored. This class having a Final Portfolio in the place of a Final exam eases a lot of pressure off of you, as it means you don’t really have to stress about the class much during Finals, if you did your work on time throughout the semester. Ultimately, being responsible in this class pays off big time in the end, so just don’t slack off too much and you should be good.

Class Meetings & Times: in person Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 – 5:15 PM in Namm 403
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
