Citation: “Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet.” NASA, NASA, climate.nasa.gov/.

Summary: The science has more than proven that modern day climate change is a cause of human activity. The climate warning trend shows the most extreme of situations, where it is thought that there is a 95% probability that the current warming trend is a result of human activity since the mid-20th century. There is no question that the increased levels of greenhouse gases are caused by humans, as seen in the mid-19th century where humans learned about the heat-trapping nature of carbon dioxide and other gases.

Reflection: I agree 100% with the information found at climate.nasa.gov. All of the information given follows peer reviewed sources as well as just overall making sense. Proof that climate change is a human effect is significant as we are the only ones with the ability to prevent such a disaster from occurring. The effects that people are not taking seriously such as a rising climate, melting snow cover, rising sea levels. These types of disasters don’t happen immediately, they happen over decades so none of the effects will occur quickly. Just over time you’ll see the sea level rise, then one day you might not be able to live there anymore because there is water up to your ankles.

Quote:(evidence page) “The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95% probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia”
