in this one I received comments like ” I liked the part when you talk about how durable jeans are and that’s one of the reasons why they are so popular. it can last for a long time and can work in any environment”. Here I knew that this topic was actually catching peoples eyes and they were getting interested in this. I felt like it was a topic or question that people don’t ask too often. The comments was majorly the reasons why i decided to continue with this topic.

makeyourownjeans,”Why Jeans Are The World’s Most Popular Style Of Pants” Feb https://www.makeyourownjeans.com/blog/why-jeans-are-the-worlds-most-popular-style-of-pants/

Summary:

This article is different from the other ones. It would jump in to different types of jean and how others would make it different from others. They would give you different types of keys on jeans such as the durability, the versatility, and the comfort. There will also be other things like the stretch denim, colors , stein- resistant, time- tested and the cuts. These would make the jeans and make them to be the most sufficient types of pants in the world. These types of reasons is why people even buy them because they are a very good type of pants and it can match with mostly anything.

Reflection:

I definitely agree with this article because it would give all the details there is to know and also they get to explain the reasons behind them in which would be very helpful for who people who have questions despite jeans and if they just curious. I think its a very great source for this type of question and it definitely they know what they are talking about especially if its known fact.

Quotable:

“Who says jeans are available only in a single color? Sure, traditional blue/indigo has long been the preferred choice of color for denim jeans, but this versatile and stylish garment is available in more than a dozen other colors, ranging from white and black to red and yellow (yes, there are yellow-colored jeans).” I really like this quote from the article because it shows yo that blue is not the only color jeans are made for. Before I thought that they only come in blue but later on I started to notice that they make them in other different types of colors. Another quote that I liked was ” Let’s first go ahead and get the most obvious benefit of jeans out of the way: durability. A good pair of denim jeans can literally last for jeans without ever suffering from any real damage. When compared to other styles of pants, jeans are significantly longer lasting.” The reason I like this is because i totally agree with it and I can speak from experience that this is known fact. Jeans are the most durable pants in the world in my opinion and I also think that most of them are really hard to break or damage in hard work.

1 Source Entry Draft

This was the first time in where i actually answer some of my questions about jeans. This made wanted to add more things to my project and learn more about the history of jeans. When i received comments saying that this was a good topic to pick or that it was a good question to asked it made want to continue with it and proceed to tell and explained more of it.

Summary:

This article talks about how jeans are made and talks about the past describing the type of fabric they use and what jeans were meant for. It would talk about how they started to become so popular and then how they became a very common style in the world. The creators will be mention and also as the different types of brand that sell them. They described the different prices they can come up with and also how they come up with these prices. Most of them will come with a higher price because of their brand or just the fabric itself meaning how long is would last, how good it would hold on and the texture. This has made a very big change in style not just in America but all around the world. It would also state on how they are made and how many people work at a factory to create them.

Reflection:

I agree with what most of the article describes because I can tell from experience its true. Threw time I have also purchase a lot of jeans and all of them are not the same. From the texture to the price it would show the different types of jeans. Places like Levi and Parsons are very good examples for that. This a good resource place to answer any questions about jeans.

Quotable:

” It was surprising to see these labels next to one another, being produced in the same place, with the same makers. It made me think about how more expensive jeans does not always translate into makers making more money.” This authors Allison Griffin and Casey Barber state, ” I knew that a lot of people work on a single piece of clothing. But walking into the denim factory, it was still amazing to see it first hand. There are about 2,000 workers at this factory, arranged into several assembly lines.”

Why Are Jeans So Popular? Introduction

This part was mainly the part where I was more understanding of my topic and felt as I can explained it to others. The feed back was great for me because it also made want to explained it more and give other bonus answers that no one knew about them. I would like to do something like this again in the future in other classes. I would also like to revisit this part specially because I felt that this one was more important then others.

The reason why I’m so interested in this topic is because growing up I always saw them and knew what they were. When I was a kid I thought there were jeans only in America but there are actually all over the world and I wonder why ever since. I never did the research about that because it wasn’t bothering as much to answer my question. As a child I traveled from the Dominican Republic to the United states and started noticing that is was actually a really common style everywhere. When I do my research I expect to find the answers to my questions. I also expect to find more information that I didn’t know. I will find this about the past, the creators, what were they meant for, why they invented it and how they become so popular in the first place. If I find information that goes completely against what I was expected to find then ill still add it because it will be good to learn more about it and add more assumptions. If the information gets out of line and its not related to the topic then they wont add it. I will probably challenge my own assumptions because since I don’t know much of the topic and I’m trying to learn more about it then it would be best if i do. Something that would change my assumptions is learning about something that was never mention before or something that didn’t know about them and just discovered. I want to learn about something that I never expect and learn more about it. I think that a good source for these types of questions. Things you can ask if your interested in ” why are jeans so popular” is things like who made them, what was the reason they created them, what year did they come out. Questions like these are the things that will make you find a good source for them. By doing that you can also find more questions like for example they will tell you the difference of why jeans can sometimes be $10-$25 to $1000 and that’s mostly because of the brand they come from. Some brands will have a better material for jeans then other types of jeans, that’s why they will put them at a higher price and leave at that. People will tell if the jeans are better from the more expensive brand then from the cheapest brand.
