Week Nine: Discussion Post

I found the article “Objectivity is Dead, and I’m Okay With It”  by Wallace pretty interesting . I appreciated the fact that he told the truth about journalism. It’s not possible for a journalist to be truly objective, because objectivity in a human being is a complete myth.  “Objectivity” often backfires since not all sides are equal and it’s impossible to not be nonjudgmental. I agree with one of Wallace statements – “I propose that we need to become more shameless, more raw, more honest with ourselves and our audiences about who we are, and what we are in this for”.
