Worked for more than twenty years in commercial software development and implementation, starting out as a programmer, then moving on to business analysis, program and project management, and management consulting. Now Co-Director of the OpenLab at City Tech and the Opening Gateways grant program, and Co-Project Director of Commons In A Box OpenLab. Also (slowly!) pursuing a PhD in English at CUNY Grad Center.

Topics include functions, limits, differentiation, and tangent lines, L’Hôpital’s Rule, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and Applications.
This course will examine urban tourism as a vehicle of urban renewal and economic regeneration. The roles of government, business, and the community will be explored as well as issues of development, management, the environment and social equity. New York City and Brooklyn will be evaluated as models for the development, challenges and opportunities of urban tourism.
