Blendoku Extra Credit Assignment
This fun and very addictive puzzle game is called blendoku (pretty much similar to Sudoku but with colors). I find this game very useful not only for killing time on the train but for when you are thinking of a design and you stubble upon a level that catches your interest in blendoku you could use the different color values, hues or complementary colors to help formulate a design. It is available for both apple and android devices for free. Download today!
Meet The Pros Event!
Andrew Shea was very passionate to share his experience as a graphic designer, and the projects he had done so far with us which I truly appreciate. At the event, I was able to learn from all the various projects he was able to accomplish and how he went about doing it. The most important thing I learned from him was that as a designer research/development takes a lot of time and it is a key step when designing anything. I feel very honored to get such advice from a young successful graphic designer that could one day help me in the long run.
Out of all his projects he’s done so far I liked the one he did for a brand new school in manhattan. I like his use for negative space that he did between the white and the blue.
My name is Malik Dupree. I’m currently a full time college student at City Tech and I’m majoring in graphic design also known as communication design. I live in Brooklyn, New York. My goal is to get my bachelors and masters in graphic design. Afterwards work for a well-known company or freelance by myself.
As for personal hobbies I like photography a lot (I’m still learning) but I find it interesting because you can express your feelings or ideas in one photo and share them with people. I also like to watch anime (basically Japanese-based animated TV shows) they are good to watch from time to time. Lastly I’m a little in to sports mostly football and basketball. If you were to ask me my favorite team I would say the New England Patriots Football team and Clippers basketball team. If we have similar things in common I would not mind being friends at all.
