Learning Log #3

Split

Loop

Rembrandt

Broad

Short

In Class today we learned about Split, Loop, Rembrandt, Broad, and Short lighting on a subject. Taking these angles into consideration it adds more emotion to the subject and highlights their features significantly well when placed properly.

Learning Log#2

Low Key

High Key

In this class, we explored the differences in high key lighting and low key lighting. High key lighting is when the subject has a lot of light hitting it and there’s not too many shadows. Low key lighting is when the subject is not getting much light which give the subject a lot of shadows which result in  a darker feel

Low-key Light VS. High-key Light

In today’s class we had the chance to play with the lights making a picture exposed to minimal light and focused on a certain spot in my opinion. While, the picture on the right is exposed to more light is not really focused on a certain spot.
