Today in class we learned what is light and how does it work? But our main focus was playing around with the high key and low key. High key is more light exposure and low key is less light exposure

Today we learned about high key vs low key. Using the light to create different moods was very interesting. I learned that based on where the light came from and how intense it is helps make an interesting image.
Today in class we learned about lighting and how it can be compromise with Highkey and Lowkey light. I dealt with direction a lot and how it can manipulate the image in its whole composition.
Low Key & High Key-ish
I like the way the roll was lit a milky white, and the strong contrast on the inside of the cup. The one on the right still is somewhat low key because of the contrast from shadows — due to lighting — but I thought the subjects were more visible, and since the shadows were reduced, this can work for High Key.
Today, We learned how to take photos with high key lighting and low key lighting. High key lighting is to minimize shadows on a figure. Low key lighting is to add more shadows on a figure. One thing I should work on is my framing.

Low key vs. High key
Today we learned how characterize light. Also, on how the direction, intensity, and quality of light affect each photo. Additionally, we learned about high key and low key light. High key having little to no shadows and low key having more shadows within the photo.
I had initially taken it with rule of thirds, but then I cropped it a bit. I thought that the reflection gave an interesting feel to it and really helped set the mood of the photograph. it also has this interesting contrast of this nice white-ish color with a more like dirtier yellowish green in the reflection. The subject also loves this photo lol so that infuenced my decision.
In this class, we had to go around the building and take photos with different lighting. There weren’t many places that didn’t have good lighting but we were fortunate to catch some corners of the building with exceptional lighting. Like this one for example, all of the floors are pretty much the same and right before we went back down I thought I would catch this corner because it had just enough light to make a clear picture.
today’s class assignment was to go around the school and take some nice photos, but the main topic of the assignment was lighting. This photo was taken in the school cafeteria the reason why I choose this photo is because I really like how well frame it was taken. I did some adjustments to the exposure because it was too dark.
