Cake boss 

The tv food network show I have watch was called Cake Boss. I’ve had watch all 10 seasons and played the game. He could be real tough at times but when working with food it take perfection and precision. It’s time consuming but It’s worth it at the end. I will love to one day try and go on one of his shows when I become big on my pastry’s. I’m very perfectionist with my pastry’s but I do want to focus more on food also. The cake boss had a few episodes I actually enjoyed not saying he’s not fun to watch or interesting theres just some that caught my eye. Like one that was called cake of the thrones which is basically a cake from Ancient times. I really like this episode because i watch this show called games of thrones which is an amazing show and it’s around the same time period also. This show reminded me of the hawks and swords and wars they had from that time. I do love the way he his shows are played out meaning there’s episode where he trains others to get them ready for the pastry life. What I find really intense which happened to me before was when he drops the cakes the same day it has to be given. When he drops the cakes he shows his emotions in his shows which I also like about him. I saw this other episode where he had to bring the cake downstairs and the cake flipped over and splattered all over the stairs and they was down under and hour with the same exact cake the same exact way. When baking cakes or anything pastry it take time so when he was down in an hour it surprised me. I have related to this situation before when I was baking cookies and when I took my cookies out of the oven someone passed by me from the back and didn’t let me know and I dropped the cookies. Those cookies were for service so I know how it feels when things happen and don’t go as planned. Overall cake boss is a great show especially when I tweeted in pastry you can learn a lot from him and know the difficulties in certain things. It takes a lot of patience but it’s worth it at the end.

When comparing industrial to food and beverage the word would be industry. The food and beverage industry has been expanding its role of opportunities for human life and health. The food and beverage industry is dedicated to processing raw material foods into forms that may be more easily distributed and sold to consumers.There  are more than just a food and beverage industry there is Meat-processing industry, Diary industry, sugar industry, fruit and vegetable industry, baking industry, wine industry and many more. When working in a food a beverage business in 2018 its hard to keep up in the industry. i say this because you will have to keep up with the technology, changing customer needs, and acquisition stargtegies. The food an beverage industry is as old as humans themselves, however there weren’t any developments since the 19th century when Nicholas Appert invented canning and Louis Pasteur developed pasteurisation. Today, food and beverage processing and manufacturing is one of the largest employment industries in the United States, providing jobs for more than 1.5 million workers annually.The food, beverage and agriculture industry has experienced exceptional growth in recent years, and continues to expand rapidly. the pictures below show the amounts of food and beverages are being put together work wide. The food and beverage industry has become a major role today. Everyone eats and drinks in their daily life not only you do, think of all the other millions of people that do the same. what do you think about food and beverage industry, I will soon be making my own food and average menus.

Gotham West Market Food Hall

I had visited the Gotham west market in downtown Manhattan. Which this place has an variety of options place is pretty big and have lots of room and seat space . There are all types of cultural foods and people at this market. I actually enjoyed to discover somewhere I haven’t been before and try foods I haven’t before. There food selection are burgers, pizza, ramen, tacos, waffles, ice cream, chicken, spirits, jianbing and seafood.Some places may have been a lil pricy.
Pizza $3.25/ 5 per slice
Ice cream $4/8 pint $9
Waffles $5 plus toppings
Seafood $14/30 ½ or dz
Tacos $9 for 3
Jianbing $13/18 meal
Ramen $ 13&up depending on the meal.
I’ve decided to take a risk and try some tacos from a place called Choza. When given my tacos they were in a plastic plate with aluminum rapped around each taco. The tacos were ok they could’ve been better. The tacos were regular hard taco size so they filled me up. However, there was an spot called Genuine that I was tempted to get food from. Genuine selection of food would’ve probably been better than the tacos, but I never had Mexican food before so I wanted to try something different. Even though the French fries and burgers with tots were calling my name. The tacos were a little spicy, not really a fan of spicy food as much.when I was done with my tacos there was a place to throw the food out and put the place the plates next to it. But so not mixed plates with the other plates from different food stores I gave it back to where I bought my tacos. Choza looked kind of plain compared to the others. When walking around to collect menus it of at least 7 stores I was only able to get 2. Most of the menus had to be left on the counter where other people order. Some places where making food on the line or in the back. For example, where to order ramen they will cook the ramen in the back and serve it in the front line. The lines were clean, neat, organized and fast pacing.

For my first experience at a good hall I had a great time. I didn’t go alone I had went with a Jennifer from class and being able to talk to someone with the same assignment helped a lot also. So I wasn’t only giving me my own opinion we spoke about the wrongs and rights about Gotham West Market. I do recommend this place if you would like to try different foods and have a spot to chill in. On the other hand, I do not recommend choza. Everyone has their own opinion maybe you would like it. Go to Gotham West Market food hall it’s a pretty cool experience when interested in food.
