9Since Calling All Graphics is a small private company, I would consider Marla my mentor. She always gives me advice on a personal level and talks to me about her children (around same age as me) and pets. Marla would teach me tips and tricks she learned over the years and vice versa. She is also curious about what sort of stuff I’ve learned in school since she was a self-taught designer.
Marla is a caring and sweet person. She often offers food to me and decided to pay for my travel fees even though, it was never mentioned before. I am grateful for that.
