Hi, My name is Fatima Orival. I’m Haitian American and was raised in Queens, NY. This is my second year at New York City College of Technology after taking a few semesters off. I’m a full time student and currently work with adults who have autism. My major is hospitality management and I chose this major because I love cooking but I’m now unsure if this is the right career path for me. I’m hoping this semester can help me determine if this is what I want to do in life. What I do love about the hospitality field is the opportunity to travel and explore new cultures and their cuisines. I see cooking as my love language and I think of it as something you can always learn more from or experiment with.
