When creating the schedules it was just unorganized. The reason is because we were over staffed at some point and the required people to be send home. But this when this happens, closing we are short staffed and focused extend everyone that there. No one was happy because we all went to home.
So many things could’ve happened that day but it is what it is. However having that happened was just out of control but in the end we got the people to close. Knowing you are stay more later it will make anyone annoyed, but we didn’t say yes to stay.
The unexpected needs of workplace demands can cause situations that cause tension. Managers need to respect the needs of their staff and employees need to make sure to support the goals of the organization with out being taken advantage of.
