United Airline Controversy

Last month, there was a controversial incident on board of a United Airline airplane. A passenger was violently dragged off the airplane because he was not willing to give up his seat to the airline employees. He has a reasonable excuse, he is a doctor and his has a appointment with his patient the next day. The airline was sued by the victim. The rumor was the settlement will be around $100 millions. Please share some of you experience with airline companies.

  1. when the video first suffered I was truly shocked. The way United Airlines handled the problem was very unprofessal. Although I don’t fly that much, my express with flying has been wonderful. The man deserves every cent. Airlines shouldn’t overbook in general. It was American airlines fault for overbooking the flight.

  2. That video was disturbing ,I mean it. I agree that the way they settled the whole issue was very unproffessional. I recently heard that at an airport in another country they help desk lady hit a women because she was confused about something and was not understanding what the security was trying to say to her. I mean come on security at help desk or anywhere is to help you nit to hit you. Such thing are very bad for the reputationsame of the companies and and it leads to distrust. I mean I will have to think about it before traveling via the airline. Thank God I have never been through such situation, because just to see it happening to someone else disturbs me.

  4. United airlines has so many things going on it just boggles someone’s mind with what the are they doing, regardless of how the passenger was behaving they should not have put their hands on the person.

  5. Very unprofessional of United Airlines to overbook their flights. Even worse when customers have to pay because of a mistake made by the airlines themselves. At least we can be certain that should a similar situation arise, it would be handled differently. The airline now has new rules for when overbooking flights does occur. I heard they will pay up to 10,000$ to each person who gives up their seat. Which I’m sure many if not all people would agree to.
I can’t really share experiences from airplanes because the last time I was in one was when I was seven so I barely remember a thing.
