  I like this photo because of the high contrast. I think the brightness of the yellow is really beautiful and I like how the background is very dark matching the middle of the sunflower.

The lighting on these sunflowers is front lit. It’s front lit because there isn’t mush shadow on the sunflowers. The composition of this is in rule of thirds.

This photograph is taken over a white background with side light floodlight from left with diffusion, the background appears to be gray because the sunflower is far away from the white background with the light on side of the sunflower.

I really like the contrast of light and dark in this image. The darkness of the background really emphasized the color on the flower.

What I like about this photo is that although there is still very little color here it is still a silhouette and makes an odd shape where it doesn’t look like 2 flowers
