I hope you found as much value in the Site Visit of the Park Lane as I did. Please share with your classmates what you learned by answering two of the following selection of questions.

How much did you know about the luxury hotel market before the site visit?
In what way do you believe you need to prepare for a career in the luxury hotel market?
How did you feel about going to The Park Lane?
What did you like/dislike about our site visit to The Park Lane?
What was the most significant information you learned while on the site visit?
Did you feel prepared for what you experienced during the site visit?
If you had a chance to meet the speakers again what would you tell them about yourself?
What one thing influenced your desire to work/or not to work in this industry?

We invite you to tell a story about your first few weeks at City Tech. Research has shown that first-semester students often worry about their transition in to college and how eventually students become comfortable and find a community of people with whom they are close and feel they belong.

Please describe in a short story how you have experienced your first few weeks at City Tech. Aim to write 300-500 words and be sure to illustrate your post with examples from your own experiences in classes, seminars, lectures, study groups, and labs. What happened? How did you and others involved think and feel? How did it turn out?
