The gender wage gap has been a trending topic in today’s society. There is a huge difference in wage gap particularly among physicians .This social justice issue caught my interest because it is an unfair problem and I felt the need to research this issue further in order to find ways to fix it. After reading up on this social issue I had found a multitude of factors that cause the wage gap between women and men. This topic has been an issue for years and yet there has not been any progress. Also, our country’s very justice foundation is heavily leaned toward the idea of liberty, justice and equality, but this issue would say otherwise. I would expect to find answers as to finding ways on how to close this wage gap between genders.
