Homelessness in NYC

-Homelessness in NYC is extremely high with a city of 8.3 million people, about 1 in 106 people are homeless about nearly 80,000 men, women and children. Every night nearly 4,000 people sleep on the street, in the subway system or in other public spaces. A lot of the New Yorkers spend nights in Homeless shelters. With the Covid-19 the property is only increasing, because 1 in 7 people have lost their jobs 50,000 people are at risk of evictions. Then they’re at least 59,000 people overnight that go into homeless shelters in New York City.

Questions:

1)What exactly is affecting homelessness to make it rise?

2)How does the Coronavirus affect homelessness?

3)Why is Homelessness so high in NYC?

    From your questions, I would say that your second and third are the most specific I might add this question: How is Coronavirus impacting the homeless community.
    Also, if you choose your third question, you might find that you come across many causes for the hight rates of homelessness in NYC and you might want to pick one and investigate how it works or suggestions for fixing that particular cause.
