The Lucille Lortel Theatre is seeking a part-time digital designer staff member. Duties include creating promotional graphics for various theatre programs and social media campaigns, maintaining the organization’s website, regularly updating graphics for the Internet Off-Broadway Database (IOBDB.com), and providing design support to the full-time staff.

This part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday) has flexible hours, and work is remote until further notice. Candidate must provide their own computer while working remotely (company will provide software, as needed). Pay is $20/hour. A minimum commitment of two years is preferred. The start date is June 17, 2024.

Skills:

  • Experience with Apple (including Keynote), Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, MailChimp 
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as:
    • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
    • Premiere/Final Cut Pro
    • Canva
  • Knowledge of Squarespace, WordPress, or other web design programs
  • Basic knowledge of After Effects
  • Familiarity with digital accessibility practices not required but a plus
  • Familiarity with basic coding
  • General interest in theatre/arts
