The Brooklyn Navy Yard has quite a few internships to offer our students. As per this industrial park’s website: “The Brooklyn Navy Yard is the center of urban manufacturing and innovation. A one-of-a-kind ecosystem housing 500+ businesses over 300 acres. With a legacy dating back to the early 1800s, the Brooklyn Navy Yard has played a pivotal role in shaping American history, from its origins as a naval shipyard to its transformation into a dynamic industrial park.”

These are paid internships and, generally speaking, you do have to apply for these the semester BEFORE you are enrolled in the class. So, for example, the Spring call for interns generally comes out in November. However, sometimes, there are still internships available at a company so good to check out the employers on this site even late in the game. Brooklyn Navy Yard Internship site is at:

There is a paid summer internship program that accepts rolling applications in the  Spring. The final deadline for these internships is in mid-April so prepare your resume and portfolio and be ready to apply in February for these excellent spots.
